All Work, No Pay
Life when you work for yourself should be a joy.
We’ve invested our lives, our futures, into freedom, flexibility and maybe even a bit of extra money.
But all too often, our self-employment dream turns into a nightmare of all work with no pay.
It’s my mission to help you do less and get more. So this mailing list and podcast will take common questions asked by freelancers, consultants and business owners, and we’ll answer them for you.
I don’t believe in strict schedules; I work for myself so my life can be a glorious shambles. So I won’t make promises about how often I’ll be in touch. But I’ve got a mixture of short answers, long answers and guest interviews, with three or four of the longer bits interspersed with several shorter ones each month.

Oh, and if you subscribe, you’ll also get a free copy of my book “How to write proposals that convert into sales”. It’s how I improved my business, so I spent less time writing proposals but still got 86% of them to sign the contract. And I increased my rates 10 times as well. That’s got to be a win, right?
Lisa Slater, who’s no slouch at sales and even better at writing said “it’s really good - I was going to skim it but I read every word”. Tommi Murshed-Parish, a video testimonials expert, said “this book is going to make it a lot easier to avoid self-sabotage in the proposals department … as a result it will be easier to get more quality sales over the line“. And Edwin Dyson, who’s services are as complex as they come, said “I can recommend the quality of Baz’s work … some great ideas in an easy to read and digest format”.
